On the afternoon of May 18, a delegation of five including President Leeza Boyce, Vice President Mr. Arthur Chin and Vice President Jerry Shearman from Universal College of Learning, New Zealand, visited our university. Prof Wu Zhong, Vice President of our university, Prof Zhou Yong, Dean of School of International Education, and Prof Yun Deyu, Vice Dean attended the meeting.

First of all, on behalf of our university, President Wu extended a warm welcome to Lezza Boyce and his delegation, and introduced the school running, major setting and international cooperation and exchanges in our university. Then, Professor Lezza Boyce made an introduction to the Universal College of Learning, New Zealand. The Universal College of Learning is a technical institution funded by the New Zealand government, which has advanced teaching facilities as computer rooms, laboratories, clinical skills laboratories, advanced classrooms, libraries and Learning centers, state-of-the-art workshops, gymnasiums and training restaurants, etc. Courses in the University are widely welcomed by employers in New Zealand and many have achieved international recognition. The University has provided a world-class educational experience for students, graduates and adults from all over the world, as well as those who want to start up, develop or change their careers.

During the visit, Leeza Boyce and his delegation visited laboratories at the School of Art, the School of Life Science and Technology and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
