Jan 9, 2018, Miles Campos, Director of the Asia Pacific Admissions Office of Arizona State University and his assistants visited Xinxiang city. Zhou Yong, the Dean and Prof of the School of International Education, Yun Deyu, the Vice Dean and Prof, and Li Dongkun made a special trip to the Bilingual International School of the High School Affiliated to Henan Normal University to discuss joint education in 3D Printing (Additive Manufacturing).

First of all, on behalf of our university, Dean Zhou extended a warm welcome to Miles Campos and his delegation from Arizona State University, and introduced the school running, 3D Printing (Additive Manufacturing) setting, international cooperation and exchanges. Then Director Miles made an introduction to Arizona State University. Arizona State University is located in Phoenix, the capital and largest city in Arizona, which is a well-known public research university in the United States. Founded in 1885, the university currently has more than 80,000 students including undergraduates, graduates and more. The university has been rated as the most innovative university in three consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report, followed by Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, ranked 91-100 internationally in the 2016 Times World University Reputation Rankings. Especially the largest 3D printing (additive manufacturing) research center in the southwest of the United States landed at Arizona State University in Jan 2017.

In the end, Director Miles believed that the talks between the two sides were fruitful, and there are more space for cooperation in the 3D Printing (additive manufacturing) related teacher training, students exchange, and scientific research. Although the education systems between China and the US differ, the intentions of education are the same. Based on sincere cooperation, he highly affirmed the current school running in Xinxiang University, and is full of expectation for future cooperation with Xinxiang University.
