Came to Visit Our University

On the afternoon of August 17, 2016, Norman Chu, vice president of SEGI University, Malaysia, Wang Chee Mun, Senior Manager of International Marketing, SEGI University, Xue Xiangyang, vice president of SEGI University, Confucius Institute, came to visit our university. Mr. Zhou Yong, dean of School of International Education and Exchange, Xinxiang University, Mr. Yun Deyu, deputy dean of School of International Education and Exchange, Xinxiang University attended the meeting.

First of all, Mr. Zhou, on behalf of School of International Education and Exchange, expressed our gratitude to the coming of Mr. Norman Chu and then introduced the present situation of our university, and the present status of the specialties setup and international cooperation and exchange. Mr. Norman Chu introduced the majors, curriculum, teaching staff, campus environment and advantages of SEGI University.

There are 28,000 students in SEGI University, Malaysia (local 25,000, Chinese overseas students 800). Their academic level and the scale of students rank top 5 in Malaysia. They provide over one hundred degrees (including doctorate degrees) and professional diplomas, including bachelor degrees and master degrees of famous universities of England, America and Australia. Their credits can be transferred to universities of England, America, Australia, Canada and Singapore. Students can choose to study in these countries.

There are many advantages studying in SEGI University, Malaysia: short study period, high pass rate, low entrance requirements, low cost. For those students whose English is not good enough, they can receive English training in SEGI language center after they are enrolled. The diploma will be certified by the Ministry of Education Service Center, and accepted by China’s Ministry of Education.

Both parties agree that the majors of both universities fit very well, which provides very favorable development space for future cooperation. Through negotiation, both parties are willing to conduct programs like upgrading from junior college student to university student and undergraduate students to mater degree.
