Delegates from Sunderland University Visited Our University
On May 10th, 2016, Robin Lin, representative of Sunderland University, director of China region visited our university. Both sides introduced each other’s history and present status of the universities and probed into the matters of cooperative programs in education.
First of all, Mr. Lin Guocai introduced Sunderland University, which lies on the northeast coast of England and known internationally for the quality of teaching and research and is classified as “world-leading” and “internationally excellent” which add to its growing reputation for academic excellence. Sunderland University has advanced facilities for students and it is called “Oxford in the new universities” for its high level scientific research and education. Sunderland University has strong teaching and research capacity in arts design, media and other active fields, and has launched international cooperation programs with many famous universities in China.
Then, Mr. Robin Lin introduced PQP program. At first, students of this program should finish two years domestic curriculum. Afterwards, they should finish one year preparatory courses of Sunderland University. If they meet the relevant requirements, students can go to Sunderland University for master’s degree study.
