To help prospective students and their parents gain a comprehensive understanding of college admissions policies and clarify their application strategies, in June 2026, the School of International Education and Melbourne Joint College of Xinxiang University formed an admissions outreach team and traveled to Yanjin and Puyang to hold offline public admissions consultation events, offering face‑to‑face guidance to students and parents.

On June 13, faculty member Tao Yan went to the Yanjin Integrated Media Center to participate in the Yanjin 2026 College Admissions Information Session. Addressing a wide range of questions about higher education admissions, Ms. Tao gave patient and detailed responses, providing a full introduction to key topics including the Sino‑foreign cooperative programs offered by the School of International Education and Melbourne Joint College, this year’s enrollment plan, admission and placement rules, program development prospects, and graduate career and further‑study pathways. She also offered tailored application advice based on each student’s estimated scores and areas of interest, effectively bridging information gaps and helping students and parents gain clearer direction and greater confidence in their college choices.

On June 14, in accordance with the unified schedule of the Puyang Municipal Education Examination Authority’s public information and consultation event, Associate Dean Zhao Peng and faculty member Chen Bo went to Henan Energy and Chemical Industry College to take part in the public admissions consultation session. At the information desk, the two teachers systematically presented the educational achievements of the School of International Education, with a special focus on the academic model and talent‑development strengths of the Xinxiang University Melbourne Joint College, which has been officially approved by the Ministry of Education. They elaborated on the "4+0" dual‑degree curriculum, the Sino‑foreign faculty configuration, the three featured undergraduate cooperative programs (Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Big Data Technology, and Brewing Engineering), as well as the diverse development pathways available—including postgraduate studies in China, studying in Australia, and career opportunities both domestically and internationally.

This series of municipal‑level admissions outreach activities represents a concrete step by the School of International Education and Melbourne Joint College of Xinxiang University to extend enrollment services to local communities. By reaching out beyond the campus and engaging directly with students and parents, the outreach team listened to their concerns, provided one‑on‑one policy interpretations, and effectively broke down barriers in admissions information dissemination. Looking ahead, the School of International Education and Melbourne Joint College will continue to offer multiple offline and online admissions information sessions, leveraging our professional faculty and attentive services to provide multidimensional guidance for prospective students, helping them identify their best paths forward and realize their dreams of entering the ideal university.
