To further promote the standardization and high-quality development of Party branch construction, deepen the Party spirit education of faculty members, carry forward the Taihang Spirit, and transform red resources into teaching ethics and educational motivation, on May 30, the Faculty Party Branch of the School of International Education at Xinxiang University organized all its faculty Party members to visit the Guoliang Red Education Base for a thematic red study tour.

First, at the entrance of the Guoliang Tunnel, all Party members raised their right fists and renewed their oath of loyalty to the Party, reaffirming their commitment to fulfilling their original aspirations and mission. Subsequently, the faculty members, with deep reverence, toured the Guoliang Tunnel, known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." They listened attentively to the story of how Shen Mingxin led the "Thirteen Heroes of Guoliang" to manually carve a 1,250-meter cliff-hanging road over five years, under harsh conditions with no machinery or external assistance. Through this, they deeply grasped the lofty spirit of the pioneers in overcoming difficulties and serving the people with solid action.

Finally, the Party branch members visited both the old and new villages of Guoliang. By comparing the two, they witnessed firsthand the dramatic transformation brought about by the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, and genuinely experienced the powerful role of the red spirit in empowering grassroots development.

This thematic Party Day activity effectively integrated on-site red study with the cultivation of teaching ethics and the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talents. It solidified the ideological foundation of the Party members and strengthened the collaborative drive of the branch. Participating faculty members stated that they would take this activity as an opportunity to deeply study and comprehend the essence of the Taihang Spirit, remain dedicated to their teaching roles, uphold their original aspiration in education, take proactive responsibility, and promote the high-quality development of the School through concrete and practical measures.
