On the afternoon of May 26, a farewell ceremony for foreign teachers of the Sino-Belarusian Cooperative Education Program at Xinxiang University was held in Conference Room A04-104 of the School of International Education. The event honored four foreign teachers from Brest State Technical University, Belarus: Bocharova Natallia Uladzimirauna, Abasau Kiryl Tsimurovich, Frantsevich Aliaksandr Viktarovich, and Khlivniuk Aliaksandra Ruslanovna. Attendees included Ma Dongjun, Director of the Academic Affairs Office; Wei Shuangfei, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office; Xiao Miaoxin, Director of the Teaching and Research Office for Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; all faculty members of the School of International Education; and student representatives from the Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation program. The ceremony was presided over by Li Juan, Dean of the School of International Education.
At the ceremony, Zhou Yong, Party Secretary of the School of International Education, delivered a farewell speech. On behalf of the school, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the foreign teachers who had traveled a long distance to teach at Xinxiang University, fully acknowledging their dedication and professional contributions to the Sino-Belarusian cooperative education program. Zhou Yong noted that the foreign teachers not only brought advanced teaching philosophies and professional knowledge but also fostered cultural exchange and understanding between China and Belarus, injecting new vitality into the development of the Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation program and the cultivation of international talents at the university. He wished the teachers a smooth journey home and expressed hope that they would continue to care for and support the development of Xinxiang University.
A representative of the foreign teachers delivered a thank-you speech. They fondly recalled their wonderful time working and living at Xinxiang University, expressing appreciation for the school’s excellent teaching environment and the warmth and friendliness of the faculty and students. They stated that this teaching experience would become a cherished memory and expressed their willingness to continue serving as goodwill ambassadors for Sino-Belarusian educational cooperation.
In a warm and festive atmosphere, Ma Dongjun presented each foreign teacher with a letter of appreciation. Wei Shuangfei and Xiao Miaoxin jointly presented the teachers with souvenirs featuring traditional Chinese cultural elements, conveying the school’s sincere gratitude and best wishes.
This farewell ceremony not only recognized and thanked the foreign teachers for their hard work but also fully demonstrated the positive achievements of Xinxiang University in continuously advancing Sino-foreign cooperative education and deepening international educational exchanges. The university will continue to build on the Sino-Belarusian cooperative education program, expand international exchange channels, enhance the quality of talent cultivation, and propel its high-quality development to new heights.
