To further deepen school-enterprise cooperation and expand employment channels for graduates, on the morning of April 21, Vice President Han Hui led a delegation to Henan Shengqi Machinery Group for an enterprise visit. The delegation included Zhou Ning, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; Li Juan, Dean of the School of International Education; Yan Chichi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee;Chang Chengcheng, graduating class counselor; and four student representatives.
Miao Tikui, General Manager of Henan Shengqi Machinery Group; Zhou Kui, Head of the Marketing Department; Wang Qingjun, Head of R&D; and Ma Sihua, Head of Human Resources, attended the meeting. During the symposium, Vice President Han Hui introduced Xinxiang University’s educational features, achievements in discipline development, and recent progress in cultivating application-oriented talents. She particularly noted that, through the China-Belarus cooperative education program, students of the School of International Education possess not only solid expertise in mechanical manufacturing but also proficiency in Russian. This enables them to provide both language and technical support for equipment manufacturers seeking to enter Russian-speaking markets, promote equipment exports, and engage in international cooperation. She expressed hope for a collaborative talent pipeline between the two sides. General Manager Miao Tikui highly endorsed this view and presented the company’s strategic plans for overseas business expansion and its practical need for Russian-speaking interdisciplinary technical talents. The two sides held in-depth discussions on talent development standards, internship alignment, and industry-university-research collaboration. The four student representatives also engaged in detailed exchanges with the company regarding job requirements and career development.
After the symposium, accompanied by the company’s leadership, Vice President Han Hui and the delegation visited the group’s honor room. They then toured the crane production facility, observing the modern production processes, precision equipment technologies, and rigorous quality inspection system. The two sides further explored topics such as student internship placement and joint school-enterprise training models.
This enterprise visit established a direct link between our university and Shengqi Machinery Group, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation in talent cultivation, internship and employment, and technical collaboration. Going forward, we will continue to proactively reach out to key industries and enterprises, precisely match employment needs, deepen industry-education integration, and strive to promote fuller and higher-quality employment for our graduates.
