Learning from Jiao Yulu’s Spirit, Practicing a Correct View of Political Achievements: The CPC Committee of the School of International Education Visits Lankao for a Themed Party Day Activity
To vigorously promote the spirit of Jiao Yulu and guide all faculty and student Party members to firmly establish and consciously practice a correct view of political achievements, on March 28, the School of International Education organized a delegation of faculty and student Party representatives to visit Lankao for a themed Party Day activity titled“Learning from Jiao Yulu’s Spirit, Practicing a Correct View of Political Achievements.”
At the Jiao Yulu Memorial Hall in Lankao County, the participating Party cadres immersed themselves in the glorious life of Comrade Jiao Yulu through precious historical documents, artifacts, and audiovisual materials. They revisited his public servant spirit of“caring for all the people but neglecting himself,”deeply felt his sense of mission and responsibility as“an official who benefits the people during his tenure,”and underwent a profound ideological and ethical refinement while reflecting on history.
Afterwards, all Party members proceeded to the Jiao Tong Square for an on-site educational session. They stood in reverence, listened attentively, and deeply appreciated the practical and down-to-earth work style of Comrade Jiao Yulu as he led the people of Lankao in combating sandstorms and saline-alkali soil, as well as improving people’s livelihoods. They gained a profound understanding of the spirit embodied in the phrase“success does not necessarily come from me, but I must contribute to it,”further solidifying the people-centered development philosophy.
The Party members who participated in the activity unanimously stated that they would take this learning opportunity as a new starting point, implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, remain true to their original aspirations, bravely shoulder their missions, and demonstrate the political integrity and sense of responsibility of university Party cadres and members in the new era with a more pragmatic work style and more outstanding results.
