On the afternoon of March 10, Xinxiang University held a welcome ceremony for the international faculty of its Sino-foreign cooperative education program in Conference Room A04-104 of the International Education College. President Li Guanghui and Vice President Han Hui attended the event. The heads of the International Affairs Office and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, along with representatives of teachers and students from the International Education College, gathered with six Belarusian teachers to celebrate friendship and discuss cooperation. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Han Hui.
The welcome ceremony commenced in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Han Hui extended a warm welcome to the Belarusian teachers who had traveled from afar. She noted that since the establishment of the cooperative relationship between the two universities, both sides have worked hand in hand to deepen educational collaboration, fostering an increasingly profound friendship.
Li Guanghui delivered a welcome address. He expressed his welcome to the international faculty and briefly introduced the university’s background. He stated that the international faculty members are not only carriers of Belarus’s high-quality educational resources but also vital bridges and ties in the educational exchanges between China and Belarus. He expressed his hope that they would quickly adapt to and integrate into the new environment, actively participate in various exchange activities, and continuously enhance mutual friendship.
A representative of the faculty from Brest State Technical University in Belarus presented a letter of gratitude to Xinxiang University. The letter, personally signed by the university’s president, A.N. Parfiyevich, highly praised Xinxiang University for its excellent teaching organization and logistical support for the faculty involved in the cooperative program. The letter concluded with an expression of hope for the continued success of the joint educational program between the two institutions.
During the ceremony, students from the International Education College performed精心prepared cultural programs. The international faculty members expressed their commitment to living up to expectations, diligently fulfilling their duties, and actively engaging in teaching and cultural exchange activities.
The welcome ceremony not only enhanced understanding and friendship between the Chinese and Belarusian faculty but also laid a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the Sino-foreign cooperative education program in the new semester. In the future, Xinxiang University will continue to deepen its cooperation with Brest State Technical University in Belarus, advancing international education to new heights.
