On the afternoon of December 2, 2025, the International Education College held a grand farewell gathering for foreign teachers of the China-Belarus cooperative education program in Training Room A04-106. Attendees included Wei Shuangfei, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office; Zhang Qingmin, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office; Zhou Yong, Party Secretary of the International Education College; Zhao Peng and Liu Yana, Vice Deans of the college; as well as representatives from relevant departments. Representatives of faculty members, counselors, program administrators, language teachers, and student representatives from the Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation major also participated in the event. The gathering was hosted by Li Juan, Dean of the International Education College.

This event was specially organized for the fifth batch of Belarusian professional teachers since the launch of the China-Belarus program. It aimed to sincerely thank them for their hard work and outstanding contributions to the teaching mission at the university while fully demonstrating the institution’s high regard for the development of an international teaching team and international education cooperation.

The farewell gathering began with a cultural performance blending Chinese and foreign elements, instantly warming the atmosphere. Students from the university’s Hanfu Club gracefully walked in, adorned in exquisitely embroidered and elegantly styled traditional Hanfu, showcasing the beauty of Chinese attire. Students from the International Education College then presented diverse performances—fingertips strumming guitar strings filled the air with the melodious tune of the ancient-style piece "Worldly Inn," complementing a calligraphy performance where brushstrokes conveyed respect for the teachers. Additionally, students wholeheartedly performed a cheerful and lively Belarusian folk song, whose familiar melody made the foreign teachers feel right at home. Each brilliant performance not only highlighted the students’talents but also eloquently expressed their deep respect and reluctance to bid farewell.

Following this, Zhou Yong, Party Secretary of the International Education College, delivered a farewell speech on behalf of the university. He fondly recalled the teaching work and interactions between the foreign teachers and students during their stay, highly commended their pivotal role in teaching specialized courses, building bridges for cross-cultural exchanges, and deepening China-Belarus education cooperation. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude for their outstanding contributions to enhancing the university’s international education standards.

In their speech, the representative of the foreign teachers affectionately reminisced about their wonderful time working at Xinxiang University, sincerely thanked the university for its comprehensive support in teaching resources and daily services, and extended their best wishes for the flourishing success of the China-Belarus cooperative education program and the enduring friendship between teachers and students of the two countries.

Amid a solemn and heartwarming atmosphere, Wei Shuangfei, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, presented letters of appreciation to the foreign teachers. The Foreign Affairs Office, Academic Affairs Office, and International Education College jointly gifted them cultural keepsakes rich in Chinese characteristics, expressing the university’s recognition and blessings for their work.

At the end of the event, all attendees gathered for a group photo.
