School of International Education Holds Postgraduate Entrance Exam Sprint Support Session

On the morning of December 16, the College of International Education held a postgraduate entrance exam sprint support session titled“Gathering Strength and Warm Support”in Room A04-104. The event invited leaders and teachers from its cooperative colleges—the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the College of Biological Engineering, which are responsible for teaching tasks—to jointly participate, offering warm care and solid support to students. Attendees included Zhou Yong, Party Secretary of the College of International Education; Du Chuan, Deputy Dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; Zhang Jiayang, Deputy Dean of the College of Biological Engineering; Dr. Li Peng, a teacher from the College of Biological Engineering; Yan Chicheng, Deputy Party Secretary of the College of International Education; Liu Yana, Deputy Dean of the College of International Education; as well as graduation class counselors and representatives of postgraduate entrance exam candidates. The session was hosted by Liu Yana, Deputy Dean of the College of International Education.

Zhou Yong, Party Secretary of the College of International Education, first addressed the students on behalf of the college. He emphasized the importance of establishing a correct outlook on career choice and employment, noting that the realization of life’s value has multiple dimensions. Pursuing postgraduate studies is one of the important paths to achieving academic ideals and enhancing core competitiveness. He encouraged the students with the motto,“Actions speak louder than words.”In the final sprint stage, they should not only stay focused and unwavering in their beliefs but also balance work with rest, paying special attention to dietary health and traffic safety, to meet the challenges with the best physical and mental condition.

Following this, Zhang Jiayang, Deputy Dean of the College of Biological Engineering, warmly reminded the students to maintain a“positive mindset”and approach the exam with ease. Dr. Li Peng shared practical advice based on personal experience, including adjusting daily routines and reviewing key points in the week before the exam. Du Chuan, Deputy Dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, acknowledged the students’passion for learning, pointing out that taking the postgraduate entrance exam is a significant life choice, and encouraged everyone to face the exam with a calm and composed attitude.

During the free exchange session, the attending leaders and teachers engaged in cordial interactions with the students, offering patient answers and in-depth guidance on specific concerns. The atmosphere was warm and enthusiastic, with frequent applause.
