On the morning of May 29th, the International EducationSchoolsolemnly convened the 2025 Graduates Postgraduate Entrance Exam & High-Quality Employment Commendation Meeting in Conference Room A04-104. Attending the meeting were Zhou Yong, Secretary of the College Party Committee; Li Juan, Dean of the College; Liu Ya'na, Vice Dean of the College; Zhang Jiayang, Vice Dean of the School ofBiological Sciences; Dr. Li Peng; faculty members Chen Nan, Tang Lin, and Chang Chengcheng; and representatives of students admitted to postgraduate programs. The meeting was chaired by Liu Ya'na.
Li Juan extended her warmest congratulations to the students who stood out and successfully "passed the examination" in the 2025 Master's degree entrance exams! She pointed out that out of this year's 115 graduates, 53 were admitted to postgraduate programs, achieving an admission rate of 46.09%. This success, she emphasized, stems from the college's emphasis on this work, the meticulous organization and encouragement of the college's faculty, the diligent cultivation of specialized instructors, and, crucially, the students' own countless late-night study sessions. She expressed hope that the students would continue to carry forward their spirit of striving in this new life stage and achieve even more brilliant accomplishments. Dean Li encouraged the students to "come home often," reminding them that life is not always smooth sailing, and whether they encounter setbacks or joys in the future, they can always share them with their alma mater. The International Education College of Xinxiang University, she affirmed, will always be their home. Subsequently, Dean Li read out the commendation decision.
Lü Xiangliang, representing the admitted postgraduate students, delivered a speech. He fondly recalled the arduous journey of preparing for the exams, expressing profound gratitude for the teachers' diligent cultivation and the excellent learning environment provided by the college. He stated that during times of confusion and doubt, it was the patient guidance of the teachers that illuminated his path; when feeling weary or slack, it was the college's strong academic atmosphere that provided the motivation to persevere.
Finally, Zhou Yong delivered a concluding speech. On behalf of the college, he offered sincere congratulations to the successful students and put forward three hopes:
1. **Uphold Ideals and Aim High:** He urged students to hold fast to their ideals, stating that lofty ideals and beliefs are the spiritual pillars of life. To achieve something significant, one must set ambitious goals in youth and pursue them throughout life. He encouraged them to make the belief in "following the Party's guidance" a conscious pursuit.
2. **Think Dialectically and Value Diligence:** Students should deeply understand that personal effort is the cornerstone of outstanding achievements; no success comes without down-to-earth hard work. When facing difficulties, they should not be easily discouraged but instead employ multi-angled, "three-dimensional thinking" to analyze problems and solve challenges with innovative approaches. He wished for them to find joy in their professions and appreciate the greater value their efforts bring to society.
3. **Engage with Society and Broaden Horizons:** Zhou Yong hoped students would use their holiday time to venture into rural areas, enterprises, and communities – "measuring the vastness of our motherland with your steps, discovering the spirit of China with your eyes, listening to the voices of the people with your ears, and sensing the pulse of the times with your hearts." He emphasized that the broader social classroom is a vital pathway for university students' growth and success, enabling them to continuously broaden their horizons and enrich their inner selves. He wished the students a continued journey of wonderful experiences and encouraged them to "run their best race on the track of youth," striving to be pioneers of the new era.
