As spring brings blooming flowers and fragrant breezes, the School of International Education held the creative flower arrangement event titled "Blossoming Elegance: Women Forge Ahead" in Room A04-104 on March 6, 2024, to celebrate the 114th International Women’s Day. The event aimed to foster a healthy, harmonious, and uplifting festive atmosphere while further inspiring female faculty members’ dedication and passion in their professional roles. Guided by a professional florist, participants learned about floral appreciation, selection, and arrangement, enriching their leisure time and nurturing their artistic sensibilities.

The event began with Dean Li Juan extending festive greetings and heartfelt gratitude to all female staff. The florist then introduced various flowers, including spray roses, violets, baby’s breath, carnations, daisies, lilies, Leucadendron (commonly known as "Safari Sunset"), ranunculus, gerbera daisies, and red winterberries, explaining their characteristics and care tips to ensure longevity. Under the florist’s guidance, participants trimmed stems into pointed shapes for easier insertion, structured their baskets with low, medium, and high layers, artfully staggered colors, and filled gaps with foliage to create vibrant, lush arrangements. As each floral masterpiece took shape, the room lit up with radiant smiles, as if the blossoms mirrored the joy of nurturing students. The event concluded with a group photo to immortalize this memorable occasion.

The female faculty of the School of International Education exemplify the spirit of "women rivaling men in achievement," demonstrating unwavering dedication and enthusiasm in their roles. Through this event, the school strengthened camaraderie, fostered a sense of belonging and happiness among staff, and reignited their zeal to contribute to the institution’s high-quality development. Together, they continue to showcase the remarkableelegance and vigor of women in academia.
