On October 28, Dr. Kalani Hemoon, a representative from the University of Göttingen (Germany), visited our institution for discussions on international exchange and cooperation.
Founded in 1734, the University of Göttingen is one of Germany’s oldest and most prestigious higher education institutions. Renowned globally for its scientific research, particularly in natural sciences and humanities, the university has produced numerous Nobel laureates and distinguished scholars. Committed to internationalization, the University of Göttingen actively seeks partnerships with universities worldwide. As an applied university in central China, Xinxiang University has continuously enhanced its educational quality and research capabilities over its 75-year history. The collaboration between the two institutions holds significant potential for advancing Sino-German educational exchanges and fostering resource sharing.
Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, curriculum development, faculty training, student exchanges, and joint research initiatives. Following the meeting, the delegation from the University of Göttingen toured our university’s laboratories and library.
