On September 13, a delegation led by Li Juan, Dean of the College of International Education, visited the College of International Education (Ural Institute) of North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU) for research and exchange. The delegation was warmly received by Guo Guihai, Party Committee Secretary of NCWU’s College of International Education, Dean Li Shengji, Deputy Secretary Wang Shijia, and Vice Dean Yan Jun during the symposium.
Li Shengji extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and provided a comprehensive overview of the college’s development status, faculty development, teaching management, and talent cultivation. He highlighted the operation of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs and the recruitment, training, and management of international students. Dean Li Juan expressed gratitude for the hospitality and commended NCWU’s achievements in international student education and talent development. She also shared updates on her college’s recent progress in Sino-foreign cooperative education initiatives, proposing deeper collaboration in international exchanges and joint programs. During thematic discussions, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics including cooperative education, student exchange programs, international student recruitment and management, and faculty visits.
Both parties agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation, learn from each other’s innovative approaches, and share experiences to advance international collaboration. They emphasized the importance of promoting Chinese stories and voices globally. This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two institutions.
