To thoroughly implement the university’s educational management requirements and further enhance the quality of student training in cooperative education programs, the College of International Education held a thematic study session in Conference Room A04-104 on March 25. The session systematically reviewed key documents, including the Degree Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Xinxiang University Degree Evaluation Committee Charter (Revised), the Revised Implementation Rules for the Awarding of Bachelor’s Degrees to Full-Time Undergraduate Graduates of Xinxiang University, and the Detailed Rules for Student Academic and Degree Management at Xinxiang University. College leadership, teaching administrators, and counselors participated in the session and engaged in discussions on the practical management of students in cooperative programs.

At the meeting, Dean Li Juan delivered an opening speech, emphasizing that academic and degree management, as well as degree awarding, are vital for safeguarding educational equity and maintaining academic rigor. She urged all faculty and staff to adhere to institutional standards while prioritizing student-centered approaches, integrating regulatory compliance with humanistic care. Vice Dean Liu Yana analyzed the core provisions of the documents in detail, focusing on operational norms for student registration, credit recognition, graduation review, and degree awarding. She highlighted case studies on issues such as "identification of academic misconduct" and "resolution of degree awarding disputes," stressing the need for teaching teams to uphold academic standards and streamline service processes. Additionally, she proposed establishing a student academic early-warning mechanism via an information platform to dynamically track learning progress and recommended organizing policy-oriented lectures to enhance student awareness.

Party Secretary Zhou Yong concluded by stating that this session was a critical step in advancing law-based university governance and elevating the quality of international education. He called on all staff to strengthen "quality awareness, a sense of responsibility, and service awareness" through rigorous academic management while providing personalized guidance to students. Attendees expressed their commitment to integrating these principles into daily teaching and administrative practices to support students in successfully completing their studies.

This thematic study further unified management standards, laying a solid foundation for protecting student rights and enhancing the internationalization of talent cultivation. Moving forward, the college will continue refining its "enrollment-training-graduation" full-chain management system to foster a standardized, inclusive, and mutually beneficial international educational environment.
