School of International Education Holds National Defense Education and Recruitment Policy Promotion Session

To further strengthen students' national defense awareness, guide and assist students in gaining a deeper understanding of policies related to military enlistment, and encourage students to actively participate in national defense development, the School of International Education held a National Defense Education and Recruitment Policy Promotion Session on December 30th in Classroom A07-206. The session was hosted by Chen Bo, the college’s Recruitment Affairs Officer.

During the session, Chen Bo elaborated on key aspects of national recruitment policies, explaining topics such as the enlistment process, eligibility criteria, future career planning, and considerations for each stage. His presentation aimed to help students clarify their enlistment goals, establish a correct understanding of national defense, and deeply comprehend the responsibilities and missions of military personnel.

Subsequently, he highlighted exemplary cases of retired university students from our institution and outlined preferential policies for university students enlisting in the military. He encouraged students to actively respond to the nation’s call, contribute to national defense, and support military modernization. Key points included enlistment requirements, service benefits, post-service placement, and preferential policies for student enlistment. Chen Bo explained in a clear and accessible manner how military service fosters personal growth and enhances comprehensive qualities, urging students to integrate their personal aspirations into the grand mission of building a strong nation and military.

This session deepened students’ understanding of recruitment policies, planting the seeds of joining the military and serving the country in their hearts. Many students expressed that the session was deeply inspiring. It not only provided a platform for those interested in enlistment to gain detailed policy insights but also advanced the college’s recruitment efforts. The event effectively motivated students to enlist, strengthened their sense of responsibility and honor in fulfilling military service, and cultivated their awareness of contributing to national defense.
