To further standardize the construction of Youth League branches, enhance the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the organization, and advance theschool's Communist Youth League (CYL) work to a new level, the International EducationSchoolheld the 2024 Annual Youth League Branch Review and Assessment Meeting in Classroom A04-106 on March 4, 2025. The meeting was organized by theschoolYouth League Committee, with Secretary of the Youth League Committee Chen Bo and student part-time deputy secretary Liu Jiaxin in attendance to provide guidance. Class branch secretaries and members of the fourth "Youth Marxism Training Program" (QMTS) class participated in the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, class branch secretaries delivered theirwork report presentations in sequence. The reports focused on three aspects: achievements of each branch, shortcomings, and plans for the next phase. They systematically reviewed and summarized the work accomplishments of 2024, analyzed existing issues and deficiencies based on practical experiences, and proposed improvement measures and work plans for 2025.
Following the presentations, attendees conducted assessment evaluations for each branch. Student part-time deputy secretary Liu Jiaxin announced the evaluation results and elaborated on the overall plans and arrangements for the college’s 2025 CYL work. He emphasized that Youth League branches serve as vital bridges connecting with young students, urging all branches to strengthen organizational construction, enhance ideological and political education for members, actively organize youth-oriented activities, and boost the appeal and cohesion of the League. He stated that the college’s Youth League Committee and Student Union would serve every student wholeheartedly, ensuring that each student grows through their involvement in the CYL.
In conclusion, Secretary Chen Bo provided feedback on the branch secretaries’ reports. He fully acknowledged the achievements of each branch over the past year, while also pointing out current shortcomings. He encouraged everyone to continue leveraging the role of branch secretaries as bridges and bonds in the new year, innovating work methods to improve the service capacity and influence of the League.
This review and assessment meeting not only provided a platform for branches to share experiences and learn from one another but also charted a clear direction for future work. Under the guidance of the college Youth League Committee and the joint efforts of all branch secretaries, the International Education College’s Youth League branches will continue to optimize management, innovate working models, and build broader platforms for youth development. The CYL will truly become a stronghold that unites, guides, and serves young students, writing an even more brilliant chapter in the coming year!
