Instructors of the School of International Education Visited Students’ dorms in the New Semester

In order to further strengthen management on students’ dorms and create a safe, orderly and warm accommodation environment for students, on the afternoon of Feb 26, instructors and teachers from the School of International Education visited and inspected dorms of each class.

During the inspection, instructors and teachers communicated with the dorm supervisors about hidden safety hazards such as smoking in the dorms, and made detailed records of dorms with potential safety hazards reported by the dormitory supervisor, which will be key point for follow-up inspections; They also checked the dorm hygiene and electricity safety, and the students were urged to keep the dorms clean indoors to create a safe and comfortable dorm environment, especially students are warned against telecommunication fraud; in addition, the instructors also asked students about their vacations life and family, hoping the students should welcome the study and life in a new semester with a new attitude.

The visit and inspection on the dorms have improved the students' awareness of dorm housekeeping and electricity safety, deepened the relationship between teachers and students, laying a good foundation for the safety education of students’ dorms in the new semester.
