Prof Marcelo Gameiro’s Visit to Our University

Sep 24, Prof Marcelo Gameiro from Bay Path University was invited to visit our university, who discussed how to improve English writing in classroom A05-205 with students enrolled in 2018 and 2019. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Dean Yun Deyu.

During the meeting, first of all, Prof Marcelo Gameiro explained basic forms about IELTS writing and then stated basic frameworks for writing aiming at various writings in IELTS test, indicating that the IELTS writing shall be based on three points as hook, argument and summarize, followed by analyzing cases of writing. At last, students were advised to face directly difficulties, do more exercise and succeed with full confidence of their own.

After the meeting, students have deepened their understanding of Bay Path University, whose enthusiasms are stimulated to learn English, and it is great push to the cooperation and exchanges between the School and international universities.
