In order to carry forward the volunteer spirit of solidarity, friendship, dedication, mutual assistance and progress and cultivate young students' sense of social responsibility and service awareness, Dec 5, 2020, our School launched volunteer services of civilized practice in the new era on the International Volunteer Day. On the day of the event, under the leading of Zhou Yong, Dean of the School of International Education, and Yan Chicheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, volunteers (teachers and students) carried out International Volunteer Day activities at the Party School of Kaifeng Municipal Party Committee.

Adhering to the dedication spirit of serving and feedback to the society, all the volunteers swept and cleaned fallen leaves and sundries in the campus of the school. All of them were very motivated, and the atmosphere was lively. During the voluntary labor, members of each group brought cleaning tools to the given areas to clean up dead branches and leaves, weeds and debris, and pendants hanging on branches, showing a spirit of hard working and doing without complaints. It not only fully demonstrated the vanguard and exemplary role of party members, but also established a good image of "one party member, one banner". After cleaning, the whole school has been completely renewed, creating a clean and tidy environment for study and work.

During the activities, every volunteer experienced the hardships and glory of labor first-hand. The volunteer activities exercised everyone's dedication spirit to take responsibility and not be afraid of hardships, and cultivated a sense of responsibility to serve the society. The volunteers feel that the public environment needs to be maintained consciously by everyone.
