Nov12, in order to implement the spirit of the nationwide international study work conference, improve the service system for studying abroad, promote the further development of the "Safe Study Abroad" training meeting, and continuously raise and improve the management and service for those studying abroad, the School of International Education hosted the "Safe Study Abroad" training meeting.

     The "Safe Study Abroad" training aims to enhance the safety awareness and adaptability of the 4th batch of international students of our university so that they can study and live abroad smoothly, and achieve the international study safe, rational, happy, and successful.

Following requirements of the Ministry of Education, the training will strive to include all international students so as to achieve the goal of benefiting international students before going abroad. The training also makes full use of offline and online training to focus on the safe study abroad.

On the morning of Nov 12, the training topic focused on adhering to morality and cultivating people, carrying out patriotism education, ideology and mental health education, introducing foreign affairs discipline, overseas consular protection, overseas security knowledge, security defense skills, and adaptability to study abroad. In the afternoon, international students were introduced topics such as cross-cultural communication, daily health care, international financial knowledge, sharing of life in Malaysia, common knowledge of foreign etiquette, academic preparation and course selection instruction, pre-departure preparation. Students were also distributed learning materials such as safe study abroad comic booklet and international financial safety handbook. Guests from the Exit-Entry Administration Section of Xinxiang Public Security Bureau, Henan Normal University, Xinxiang Medical College, Bank of China Xinxiang Branch and more attended the meeting.
